My name's Kaylee and I just finished my first year of vet school at the University of Georgia. I'm not sure what kind of veterinary medicine I want to pursue but I'm open to all opportunities! I just received the HPSP scholarship through the army and I am now a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army. My true passion is traveling. I love meeting new people and exploring new cultures.
At Clemson University, I received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine. While at Clemson, I was extremely involved with the Dairy Science Club where I fell in love with dairy medicine. I was able to study abroad in Botswana and then backpack for a bit. My previous posts are about my time in Africa. Through my undergraduate career, I was fortunate enough to participate in several internships including one at The Clinic For Rehabilitation of Wildlife, in Florida, and another at Best Friends Animal Society, in Utah. I highly recommend both!
This summer, I am participating in a veterinary exchange program in Santa Maria, Brazil. My most recent post will be of my adventures in Brazil! I hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by! :)

Traveling + Playing with Animals = Dream Come True.
(And who said math wasn't useful?)
